This section outlines some concepts that will only be relevant to web developers and programmers.
Since 2005 Connectingcare has provided a webservice that enables individual agencies to display live Connectingcare service directory data on their own websites. So when you edit your service information on Connectingcare it will be instantly updated on your own website.
See the screenshots below as an example of a site using the Connectingcare webfeed service. This means they can display live data directly from the Connectingcare service directory and format it using their own layout and colour scheme.
The webfeed can be successfully setup on both in-house hosted internet and intranet websites as well as on commercially hosted sites (will depend on features offered by webhosting company). Setting up will require some web development and programming skills, but some simple examples are provided in both PHP and ASP.NET languages. Implementers will need experience in either PHP or ASP.NET and also XSLT/XML.
