Eligibility
The services are available to all who live or work or holiday in the Sunraysia area.
There is no need for a referral to use any of the services.

The Mission

To provide a confidential service in a drug and alcohol free environment to community members requiring information or support with drug and alcohol issues.

The aim is to support people in looking at the patterns of drug and alcohol use and to provide practical strategies to minimise the risks according to each individual’s needs.

This service is provided by experienced counsellors who will take into account your social, economic, physical, psychological and cultural needs.

Services Provided

• Assessment


• Counselling, Consultancy and Continuing Care Service (CCCC)


• Alcohol and Drug Home Based Withdrawal


• Youth Home Based Withdrawal Service


• Referral to treatment centres or agencies providing appropriate rehabilitation opportunities


• Referral to appropriate services/resources, ie: Medical services, HIV/AIDS, pre/post test counselling support services.


• Youth Accommodation & Support services (YASP)


• Information/education/resource centre for the community


• Community development/awareness programs


• Referrals from community and government organisations


• Community based corrections programs


• Needle Syringe Program (Mildura)
  
• Pharmacotherapy Treatment Program


• Pharmacotherapy Regional Outreach


• Rural Outreach Diversion Program


• Koori Alcohol Drug Diversion Worker

Appointments can be arranged by phoning Sunraysia Community Health Services on (03) 5022 5444 between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
