Dietetics - Dietitian Services

Eligibility
All age groups - people with chronic diseases e.g. diabetes / pre-diabetes, weight problems, or nutritional risk factors. Self and GP / Specialist referrals are accepted. Relevant information needs to be sent or obtained for all referrals, this includes: reason for referral, recent and past medical history; current medications; relevant pathology results e.g. FBG, OGTT.

Dietitian
Dietetics provides one-to-one holistically based client treatments, facilitates regular groups, networks with other groups and projects in the community, provides talks for existing groups and education seminars and workshops.

Dietetics aims to provide an integrated, user friendly dietitian service to the local community; promote healthy lifestyles and work practices; prevent ill health, particularly for those at risk; educate about health issues; support people in managing their own healthy nutritional intake and healthy weight.
