Physiotherapy - Assessments for exercise groups/programs

A charge applies to this service

Eligibility
All age groups - people with muscular-skeletal / joint problems associated with an acute episode, injury or chronic disease e.g. arthritis, or those at risk e.g. risk of falls. Self and GP / Specialist referrals are accepted. Relevant information needs to be sent or obtained for all referrals, this includes: reason for referral, recent and past medical history; current medications; relevant pathology results e.g. X-rays.

Physiotherapy at CHIRP provides pre-exercise or pre-program assessments

Individual one-on-one holistically based client treatments may be provided for clients in exercise groups or programs.

Physiotherapy techniques include mobilisation, McKenzie exercises, some Feldenkrais, and spinal Pilate's exercises. There is an emphases on functional rehabilitation and self help within the context of each client's particular lifestyle.

 Drop in or phone our reception desk and ask for an appointment.
 The receptionist will take your name and phone number and ask you a few very basic questions.
 You will telephoned with a date and time for your appointment.
