Eligibility
A program for women and men of all ages. Priority access to the program is given to people with diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis and other chronic conditions. An initial physiotherapy assessment is required for new clients. Clients are required to have a medical clearance form signed by their doctor before commencing classes.

Strength Training: Progressive resistance training specifically designed to improve bone density and general strength. Proven benefits include increased bone density, strength, flexibility, energy and vitality.

General Information
The National Heart Foundation recommends and promotes enjoyable active living for all Australians, with physical activity being incorporated into usual daily activity as well as participation in exercise and sport.

• All people should aim to participate in moderate intensity physical activity for 30 minutes or more on most or all days of the week for health benefits.
