STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The objective of CHIRP is to design and provide programs and activities which ensure:
* community members receive primary health, preventative care and community support services which are accessible, responsive and of the highest quality;
* health outcomes and general social well-being of the people in the surrounding region are improved; and
* individuals and community groups are empowered to achieve self direction in personal well-being and community health

Castlemaine District Community Health Centre (CHIRP) offers a range of services and programs aimed at promoting health and preventing illness. These may be conducted on an individual or group basis. See ''Services'' list below.

VISITING COMMUNITY AND SPECIALIST MEDICAL SERVICES INCLUDE (bookings via reception):

Australian Hearing Services;
Dental Prosthetist;
Emergency Relief Service;
Endocrinologist;
Spirometry Clinic.

When you first make contact with our agency, our receptionist can ensure you are directed to the service you are requesting. If you are unsure of your service needs an appointment with our Duty Worker can help.
