This service is provided in the local area only.
Council’s Environmental Health Officers are responsible for queries and complaints regarding food, noise or pollution in Pyrenees Shire including food safety programs, food samples, premises auditing, head lice inspection, immunisation programs, septic tank permits.
The Environmental Health Officer also conducts investigations into infectious disease notifications within the shire, monitoring the situation and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
