Eligibility
Those assessed as eligible under Home & Community Care guidelines.

Catchment(s)
This service is provided in the local area only.

The Home Care program provides household assistance, personal care & respite care.
Household assistance includes:

Vacuum cleaning, sweeping and mopping of floors.
Cleaning of baths, basins, showers and toilets.
Cleaning kitchens including stoves, benches and defrosting refrigerators.
Washing and ironing.
Limited food preparation in some circumstances.
Take clients shopping or do the shopping for them.

Personal assistance includes:

Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments (Available only if client has no other means of accessing transport)
Letter writing
Shopping and banking.
Reading papers or mail.
