This service is provided in the local area only.
The Sharp-Safe container exchange program provides containers in public places for the safe disposal of syringes. When full, the containers are collected and the contents safely disposed of.
Council also has an Exchange program for people who have Diabetes or other medical condition that requires syringe usage. The program provides sharps containers to aid the safe disposal of syringes.
